Villa Rosewood is the beach house of a Mauritian family - an art collector and a ceramic artist - who spent years living in Paris, New York and New Delhi. They now open their house to guests a few months each year.

The villa reflects their love for art, culture, and craftsmanship with paintings by contemporary artists, carefully curated objects from their travels, a library of books, and an aesthetic that blends Mauritian roots with global influences.

The name Villa Rosewood is inspired by heritage and tradition, as well as the use of Indian rosewood in the villa’s handcrafted furniture — a material chosen for its beauty, durability, and cultural resonance.
